| real hip hop -General Brolly the ghost Welcome to my website, where you will hear real un censored information for your life. Famous hiphop artists can never tell you these truths because they have sworn an oath not to, so I will be their voice. I am here to reveal the alternative perspective that you are not sheep, that you are qualified to govern yourselves, to educate your own children, to represent yourself in court, to heal yourself of any sickness and to put all these financial vampires on blast while pulling their fangs out of your necks. They taught you to watch out for evil spirits and to take GOD out of yourselves through religion. Well my friends, I am here to tell you that there is nothing to fear, besides the resentment of our ancestors. So lets make em proud. Click Here to Read Moor |

BROLLY the General’s Ghost Brolly has only been home for three months and as of two weeks ago he has already sold hundreds of copies. “I just go to events and sell copies to people coming out of the shows, some of them recognize me others have heard my songs on 107.7,” Omaha’s hip hop radio station. Four months ago he was in Jersey at the Power Plant Studios recording three songs produced by Macnificent of the Dreamteam. According to local producer Wrath Rawchild, Brolly has the best of both worlds, a book smart emcee from a street smart household. “He proudly admits to never having to rob anyone because his parents would’t allow him to follow the same path they traveled,” explains Wrath. Instead he was the first in his immediate family to graduate from college. Brolly was born in Omaha , Nebraska but ended up in Brooklyn , New York , where he obtained a degree in Film/Animation from Pratt Institute. Rappers from the Midwest spit fast, but what happens when they’re raised in Jersey and graduate college in the out squirts of BedStuy? Well, according to Brolly they posess the ability to please both the East and West coasts and everyone in between. Brolly , born Antonio Rone Bryant, first picked up the mic at 12, after moving to Jersey with his mother. When they moved back home during High School, he fled the small city of Omaha to pursue music and art in the east. Doing just that, he won a school contest and started recording songs. With 13 years of experience, he is as passionate as Tupac, as careful a writer as Eminiem but as morally responsible as Nas. Brolly flows with a deep voice and perfect syllable placement. “When I started ‘Dwyck’ was out, rap was fun, now it’s all about convincing people that you’ll shoot them. We’re not exactly helping the situation,” Brolly explains. Excerpts from the unrecorded “True Speech” read,” You should’ve seen Gordon Parks eyes when he saw my face, it was like something he recognized but just couldn't place/ it’s the reincarnated magic, I’ll give you my hearts passion/ it’s strong enough to make a person stop cryin’ and start laughin’/ stop dyin’ and start actin’ like you deserve your freedom/ And we’ll have diplomatic immunity just like the Jewish community.” The General describes himself as a tough nerd, who tries not to take himself too seriously. When asked what his goal in music is Brolly replies, “I hope I can inspire people to be themselves, we need a new type of strength, a smarter power.” |
